LINK Strategic Partners Internship Program

LINK Strategic Partners is searching for a communications and community relations intern to be an integral member of our growing team and serve our clients by assisting with research, writing, attending community meetings, and day-to-day account administration. Enthusiastic, passionate, and driven people are encouraged to apply. Located in Washington, DC, LINK Strategic Partners is a strategic communications and stakeholder engagement consulting firm. We develop cutting-edge communications, engagement, social marketing, public relations, and advertising campaigns to help translate challenges into opportunities for local success. Current clients include municipal government agencies, school systems, a major sporting event, educational institutions, associations, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Our headquarters is located in newly renovated space in the heart of DC’s Columbia Heights neighborhood. This 120-day internship is a paid opportunity that allows interns to get real work experience, allowing each class of interns to accomplish professional goals while learning about the issues facing our great city. While we may ask you to make a few photocopies, you will contribute fully as part of our team. You will gain hands-on, meaningful career skills and work closely with experienced project managers and firm leadership on client assignments.

  • Education or experience in communications, public relations, digital media, or other related fields is recommended, but not required

  • Support project managers across a range of issue-, brand-oriented, and strategic communication matters
  • Work seamlessly alongside project teams to create and execute traditional and digital communication strategies across multiple platforms
  • Provide research and writing support
  • Conduct partnership outreach
  • Provide media relations support
  • Attend community meetings
