GWHCC Receives Ceremonial Resolution
GWHCC was presented with a ceremonial resolution yesterday at the DC Council meeting for their impact on the Hispanic business community in the District of Columbia. The resolution was proposed by Councilmember At-Large Anita Bonds and presented by several members of the DC Council. This resolution reinforces the Chamber’s mission in supporting Hispanic and minority-owned businesses to grow in the DC Metropolitan Area.

Washington, DC – April 3, 2013 - The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) successfully carried out its fourth annual business expo. This year’s expo drew over 1700 participants, 60 sponsors and supporters and 120 exhibitors.
WASHINGTON, DC –The Washington metropolitan area has experienced an increase in the total of Hispanic owned businesses, setting the region as the fourth fastest growing Hispanic market in the country. This impressive increase provides unique opportunities for business owners, federal agencies, as well as corporations to be an integral part of a determinant and prominent business aggregate.

The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) and its Foundation (GWHCCF) have partnered with Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School to provide educational technical assistance and training to the school’s students, individuals or businesses that are interested in opening or growing a business in the District of Columbia.
