WASHINGTON, DC, June 6, 2016 –The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) celebrated its annual Gala: Honoring Hispanic Businesses in Construction on June 3rd at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, DC. This year the GWHCC recognized five individuals in the construction sector who have excelled in various categories and celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Washington, DC, October 15, 2015 – The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) and Events DC will host their Seventh Annual Embassy Celebration Dinner Series on Monday, October 19th at the Carnegie Library at Mount Vernon Square. We are honored to have former  Secretary of Energy  and Governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson as the Keynote Speaker and Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs,  Roberta Jacobson, both who will be discussing the newly signed Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and how it will affect Latin America , and U.S.- Cuba relations. Furthermore, this year GWHCC will honor the Embassy of Spain and its Ambassador, Ramon Gil-Caseres Satrustegui with the Public Service Award.

GWHCC to Honor Hispanic Leaders at its Hispanic Heritage Celebration

The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) in partnership with PNC Bank will host its largest networking event of the year, the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, on October 1, 2015 at PNC Place. The annual event gathers over 200 regional and local businesses, corporations, nonprofits, local and federal government representatives, elected officials, and embassies to celebrate the culture and traditions of the Hispanic community.

Washington, DC July 9, 2015 – The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) would like to show its support and validate the sentiments of the Hispanic community in light of Mr. Donald Trump’s, Chairman and President of The Trump Organization and founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts, recent comments about Mexican immigrants. He expressed that they bring problems like drugs and violent crime into the United States and that they are not “sending their best people.”
