The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce aims to develop the network and tools in assisting businesses in the D.C area to grow. Every year more than 1500 businesses and organizations participate in our events, many of whom are our members. These members range from the Washington region's largest corporations to one-person companies - and everything in between.

So whether you just started or have been operating for years, or no matter what your business type is, the Chamber has something to offer you.

Due to the increasing probability of rain and thundershowers on the evening of Tuesday, June 9th, the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and its partners decided to postpone the GWHCC Mixer Sponsored by Verizon until Tuesday, June 16th at 6:00pm - 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Rooftop, Washington, DC.

If you already RSVP, you do not have to RSVP again for the event. If you cannot make it on the new date, please email info@gwhcc.org to be removed from the RSVP list.

GWHCC names new Interim Executive Director

Washington DC, May 21, 2009 - The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce today announced that long time Board member, Angela Franco has been named as the new Interim Executive Director, effective May 20, 2009. Angela, originally from Colombia, holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master in Finance and an Advanced degree in Banking. Her career, both here and in Colombia, has been in the financial industry for almost 20 years, and has worked for BB&T in Washington, DC metropolitan region for the past 7 years in various management positions.
